How each signing runs
I confirm with the borrower within a few hours of assignment and send status updates at confirmation, arrival and completion. Before I leave the table, I check every page for signatures, initials, dates and certificates. Packages are dropped with the carrier you specify, with tracking provided.
DOCUMENTS
E-docs & printing
E-documents are printed in-house. Scanbacks are available on request. Original packages are handled with chain-of-custody care and are never left unattended in a vehicle.
SIGNING FEES
Standard rates.
Includes one appointment with up to two signers, travel up to 30 one-way driving miles, up to 200 printed pages total across the signing and borrower copies, completed notarial acts and carrier drop-off using the hiring company's prepaid label. Notarial fees are itemized within the package, never added twice; the balance covers signing-agent services. Volume and standing-order rates are quoted individually. Previously confirmed written quotes are honored.

Add-ons: scanbacks +$25 · travel over 30 through 50 miles +$25 · rush start within 4 hours of confirmation +$35 (replaces the general $25 rush fee) · printed pages over the 200-page combined allowance at $0.15 each · each additional signer beyond two +$15. Witnesses, special timing, parking and tolls, if applicable, are quoted separately. General mobile travel fees are not added to an included loan-signing trip. Return trips are quoted; a return solely to correct my own error carries no additional fee.

Who pays the signing agent?
The title company, escrow company, lender or signing service that hires the signing agent. Borrowers generally don't pay me directly; my fee is part of the closing.
Can you explain my loan documents?
No. A signing agent shows you where to sign, date and initial, and notarizes the required documents. Questions about rates, terms or fees go to your lender or loan officer. I can call them with you during the signing.
What should borrowers have ready?
A current, unexpired government photo ID for each borrower (the name should match the loan documents), any funds or checks the title company asked for, and a quiet table. Plan on 45–60 minutes for a refinance.
Do you handle e-docs and scanbacks?
Yes. I print e-documents in-house, do scanbacks on request, and drop packages off with the carrier and tracking number you provide the same day, or first thing the next morning for late signings.
Are you available for weekend closings?
Yes. Saturday and Sunday signings are offered at standard rates, and evening appointments are available until 10 p.m.
