REMOTE ONLINE NOTARIZATION

Notarize online, by appointment.

As a Florida Remote Online Notary, I can notarize your document over a recorded video session through BlueNotary. You upload the document and verify your identity on the platform, then we meet online. It works well for signers who are traveling, out of state or overseas, subject to Florida law, platform identity checks, document eligibility and receiving-party acceptance. Overseas signers must also meet applicable U.S.-connection and local-law requirements.

ABOUT

Work directly
with James.

I'm a Fort Lauderdale-based Florida notary public, an NNA member and an NNA Certified Notary Signing Agent. Before notary work, my career was in program management and partnerships, so I treat every appointment like a client engagement: I confirm details in writing, arrive prepared, check every certificate before I leave, and keep you updated throughout.

I'm not an attorney and can't give legal advice or prepare, choose or explain documents. Questions about loan terms go to your lender or title company.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Fort Lauderdale
notary questions.

How much does a mobile notary cost in Fort Lauderdale?

My in-person notarial fee is $10 per completed act. Mobile travel is $65 up to 10 miles, $80 over 10 through 20 miles, $100 over 20 through 35 miles and $125 over 35 through 50 miles, measured by one-way driving distance from central Fort Lauderdale. A local visit with one completed act is $75 total, before applicable add-ons. See the full price list.

Do you work weekends and evenings?

Yes. Appointments run 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern by appointment. Weekends are billed at standard rates; only early-morning (before 8 a.m.) and late-evening (after 8 p.m.) starts carry a $20 add-on.

Are you a certified loan signing agent?

Yes. James is an NNA Certified Notary Signing Agent, background screened October 2026, with $100,000 E&O coverage and a Florida commission valid through June 2030. Title, escrow and signing companies can review credentials on the loan signing page or SigningAgent.com.

Can you come to a hospital, rehab center or assisted living facility?

Yes. Bedside visits are available at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care and hospice settings within 50 miles. The signer must be alert, able to communicate, willing to sign and identifiable. Details are on the hospital & senior-care page.

What ID does the signer need?

Please bring identification acceptable under Florida law, such as a qualifying driver's license, state ID or U.S. passport. Other identification routes may be available, but not every photo ID qualifies. Tell me before booking if your ID is expired or unavailable so I can check the applicable requirements.

Can you notarize my will, power of attorney or health care surrogate?

I can perform an appropriate requested notarization on a document you or your attorney have prepared, and may serve as a witness when eligible. Not every document needs notarization: a standard Florida health care surrogate designation requires two eligible adult witnesses, not a notary seal. Wills and self-proving affidavits have different execution requirements; confirm them with your attorney. I cannot choose, draft or explain legal documents.

Do you offer online notarization?

Yes. As a Florida Remote Online Notary, I notarize online through BlueNotary for $25 per notarial act. Signers may be outside Florida, subject to identity verification, document eligibility, Florida law and receiving-party acceptance. Overseas sessions have additional requirements. Any separate platform or witness charges are confirmed in advance.

Do you do apostilles?

The Florida Department of State issues Florida apostilles. I offer mailed submission assistance from $75 per order, plus state fees ($10 per document, or $20 for Florida clerk-certified records), shipping, and any separately quoted notarization or pickup. This is not an expedited in-person filing service; timing and acceptance are not guaranteed.

Can a notary marry us?

Yes. Florida notaries may solemnize marriages. Bring your valid Florida marriage license; the ceremony fee is $30 (Florida's limit) plus the standard travel fee.

Does a request book my appointment?

No. Every request is confirmed by reply with the time, location and an itemized quote before I travel.

WHEN YOU'RE READY

One less errand.
One clear next step.

Tell me what you're signing, where and when. I'll reply with a confirmed time and an itemized quote.
